This course offers an excellent introduction to PRINCE2 2017. Students will become familiar with the PRINCE2 project management principles and practices and how they can be applied to real-world companies. They will also be able to reinforce their new knowledge via practice quizzes while receiving on-demand support from our in-house team of experienced tutors.
Over the last several years, PRINCE2 has evolved into one of the world’s most popular project management methodologies. Originally created based on the experience and insight of 150 European organizations, it has since been updated to keep it relevant in the rapidly evolving environment of modern business. When it comes to managing important projects, having an established methodology is essential for avoiding expensive delays. PRojects IN Controlled Environments 2 (PRINCE2) offers a product-based planning approach that divides projects into more manageable and controllable stages. Not only can this provide invaluable flexibility, but it also makes it easier to ensure that projects remain justifiable in relation to business goals. PRINCE2 allows users to outline the responsibilities within a project, what the project is expected to deliver and how it can proceed in a way that remains in line with essential business goals. The approach is practical yet flexible, allowing users to adapt it to suit virtually any organization or industry. This has led to PRINCE2 becoming one of the world’s most widely adopted project management methodologies.
