Web course EBR ESA Instructed

Information: The Swedish Energy sector recommends that the first ESA course you complete is in a class room with a teacher. To clarify that this web course can be taken to repeat your knowledge and renew your expiring certificate we have added the word “recurring” to all our web courses names. Please note that the content of the web course is the same as before.

Do you perform non-electrical work inside or close to facilities with electrical installations? Repeat your ESA training with our Web course EBR ESA Instructed – at your computer, whenever and wherever it suits you.

The Swedish instructions regarding heavy current applies for the maintenance of electrical installation and electrical devices regardless of when they were put into operation. The purpose of ESA is to clarify these instructions and to help all personnel who will work inside or adjacent to an electrical installation work safely.

Web course EBR ESA Instructed is for you who will be performing non-electrical work in or adjacent to an electrical installation. Examples includes painting, cleaning, or casting base slabs in power line corridors. The web course is based on the publicationEBR ESA Instructed Person.

The web course is to be completed on a computer. Effective training time takes approximately 4 hours. We recommend that you take regular breaks.

Målgrupp

Target Group:
The we course EBR ESA Instructed is aimed at anyone only performing non-electrical work in or adjacent to an electrical installation. Work can for example include painting, cleaning, casting base slabs in power line corridors et cetera. Some employers require that you have completed Web course EBR ESA Skilled Recurring.

Aim and goal:
If you are to perform non-electrical work in or adjacent to an electrical installation, the web course ESA Instructed will give you knowledge of the content of EBR ESA – Electrical Safety Instructions.

When you have completed the course, you will be instructed regarding the hazards associated with the work and the workplace by a skilled person and sign the ESA Access agreement before the work starts.

This course replaced the earlier web course EBR ESA -14 Access.

Note! If you have purchased and completed the web course EBR ESA -14 Access, that course is valid for 3 years. If you want to repeat the course and update your knowledge, it is the web course EBR ESA Instructed you should complete from May 29.

At the end of the course there is a web based final test.

You have access to the course for 3 years after the ordering date.

The course is personal and can not be shared or transferred.

We recommend that you perform the course using a fixed internet Connection.

New! If you are to perform non-electrical work inside restricted access location or adjacent to electrical installations, you can now repeat your electrical safety knowledge in this electrical safety course according to the new publication EBR ESA Instructed person.

The web course EBR ESA Instructed replaces the web course EBR ESA -14 Access. A new section in the publication and the course is a changed access management. Here you can order the publication EBR ESA Instructed person.

Technical requirements

We recommend that you perform the course using fixed internet access. In order to use the material your technical equipment must fulfil the following Technical Requirements.

If you are an instructed person you should, after completing the training, be given a briefing at the workplace by the Elanläggningsansvarig or his or her representative. The briefing should be done according to the ESA Access agreement document and be signed by all involved personnel.

You can do the course when and where you want, alone or together with your colleagues who also have signed up for the course. The web course is self-instructive.

After completing the course, you will do a web based final test and are given the opportunity to print a certificate after completing the tests or wait for the certificate to be sent to you.

The certificate is proof of you updated knowledge!
