Kursbeskrivning

Hands-on labbandet ger dig självförtroendet att hantera Group Policy förändringar i din IT-miljö.

Students should know how to use Active Directory Users and Computers to create user and group accounts, how to create OUs, and should have a basic understanding of Active Directory concepts.

Some Group Policy experience helpful but not required

Lab manual

This lab is primarily meant for: Active Directory Architects, Security Administrators, Desktop “Experience” designers, Terminal Services and Citrix XenApp administrators and people who implement VDI

Learn to manage your Windows 7 and later machines (including Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) and also Windows Server 2008 R2 and later (including Windows 2012 / R2 and Server NEXT) using Group Policy..

If you want to plan and manage their Group Policy design the right way this is the right course.

Group Policy touches every single aspect of Active Directory security. If you don’t have a firm foundation in Group Policy, then its impossible to ensure that security directives are accurately implemented and enforced.

If you’re rolling out Windows (7, 8 or 10) VDI, Citrix Xenapp, what will the end-user experience be after your rollout? Using Group Policy, Group Policy Preferences and 3rd party Group Policy tools and techniques, you can have a standard desktop when needed and the flexible desktop when required.

Additionally, if Group Policy stops functioning, you will get need the skills to troubleshoot and repair it.

This course also has information about how Group Policy and MDM relate, and provides information on how to perform Group Policy/MDM co-management and troubleshooting.

NOTE: Anything new or up to date in Windows 10 will be “up to the minute” updated in this course as it happens !
