IBM Cognos 8 Planning: Overview (v8.4) is a one-day, instructor-led course designed to provide administrators and project stakeholders a comprehensive overview of the IBM Cognos 8 Planning solution. Participants will learn the purpose and benefits of each Planning component and understand what is involved in creating an Analyst model, and creating a Contributor application based on a model. Participants will perform hands-on demos and workshops while learning the essentials of building a Planning solution.

Build a Contributor Application
- Examine best practices for building the underlying IBM Cognos 8 Planning - Analyst model
- Configure the Contributor Administration Console
- Create a Contributor application using the Application wizard
